In September 2018 our group travelled to Mittelberg (Austria) for the out seminar. We went there by cars and we rented a large holiday house that had many rooms to fit all of us comfortably. After we arrived, we went for a short hike around the beautiful mountain area. In the evening, we had barbecue for dinner. We also played many rounds of the game Werewolves, the game was really fun because everyone really acted innocently and sometimes it was really hard to figure out who the werewolves were. We had a lot of laughs and jokes during the game and everyone really loved this game.
The next morning, Constanze P prepared a pile of tasty pancakes for our breakfast, in addition to the different sorts of bread, cheese, and jams that we bought. Afterwards, we went riding a cable car at Söllereckbahn Oberstdorf before we started for a few hours hike around Freibergsee area. The hiking area was a really beautiful scenery and then we had lunch by the restaurant near the lake. Since it was still quite early, some of us decided to go for more hiking at the Breitachklamm. It is a beautiful gorge created by the river Breitach in the Allgäu region in Southern Germany. Returning to the house, we prepared some pasta dinner and the night was closed with another round of Werewolves game and chats.
On the second morning, Marta prepared delicious omelettes with 50 eggs! Hilda had a total fun in breaking those eggs. Afterwards, we sadly had to pack up our stuff and get ready to go back to Saarbrücken. It has been a great out seminar for all of us while enjoying the nature and shared some fun time together. Many thanks to everyone who helped for logistics, cutting, cooking, BBQ-ing, and cleaning up! Till the next out seminar!
